LFL Introduces Pittsburgh Rebellion, Drops Dallas

For the second time this offseason, the Legends Football League will drop a 2016 expansion team and add a new team for 2017.  The league previously dropped New England for the Denver Dream and has now dropped Dallas for the Pittsburgh Rebellion.

No venue has been announced for either team yet.  Pittsburgh could potentially play at PPG Paints Arena (home of the Penguins), Heinz Field (home of the Steelers and University of Pittsburgh) or Highmark Stadium (home of the USL's Pittsburgh Riverhounds), assuming it is not to play on a college campus.

The Pittsburgh area is also home to the Pennsylvania Rebellion softball team, potentially leading to some confusion this coming season.
